Expressive Art Therapy
Elizabeth Dykosky (Dyczkowski) has over 20 years of teaching experience ranging from elementary to university levels of instruction. As an art instructor and private tutor, Elizabeth specializes in drawing, painting, sculpture and art theory. She is certified as an Expressive Art Practitioner, holds a certificate in Art Therapy, Positive Psychology, and a diploma in Psychology Applied to Teaching.

Elizabeth provides Expressive Art Therapy for children & adolescents with special needs (ADHD, ASD, LD, Down Syndrome, Concussion) through the public education system, & Ministry of Children and Family Development. She also works with first responders, aiding in recovery from anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD.

The Expressive Art Therapy offered does not implement psychoanalyses, or clinical evaluation.
Expressive Art Therapy methodology is a therapeutic focus-based approach to expressing emotions through self exploration by using drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture techniques. The emphasis is on the process, not the final product. Expressive Art Therapy offers a creative and enjoyable way to communicate without restrictions or fear of being judged; there is no such thing as failing when creating art.
